Three floors high and 27-metres long, yet carrying only 13 guests, the M/V Sea Of Fantasy offers you a unique and exciting experience when travelling to Thailand's Similan Islands.

Guests may choose from Single, Twin, or Double-bed Master Cabins. Single and Twin cabins are located on the main deck, forward of the dive platform and share 4 bathrooms complete with hot water showers. Master suites are on the middle deck behind the captains cabin and come complete with their own en-suite bathroom, exclusive for Master Cabin use.

Our spacious dive deck is big enough to handle 30 divers, meaning plenty of room to gear up and store your kit after surfacing. Two large water tubs allow safe storage of camera and other electronic gear while our state of the art Membrane compressor allows us to
offer FREE NITROX fills to all certified Nitrox divers.
If you don't yet have NITROX rating, we can happily teach you during your trip.

Guests have plenty of space to relax on Sea Of Fantasy with a large lounge area hosting a flat screen TV and surround sound system, allowing music, movies, or even a chance to share your dive photos at the end of the day as you sip a cold one from the fully stocked bar.

You can grab some great Thai sunshine thanks to the giant sundeck taking up the entire top floor of the boat. With both exposed and shaded areas housing mats and full size sun beds, this deck is a great place to while away the hours reading a book or listening to MP3's.

Or if you still don't want to relax , the fun can continue between dives with banana boat and water tube rides. Feel the wind in your hair as you zip around behind the boat's zodiac on these fun water toys.

In the morning, two proper coffee machines brew up superb espresso, lattes, or cappuccinos to get your heart started.

Meal times are one of a kind with a choice of Thai or Western Dishes cooked to perfection by our experienced Western-trained chefs.

Our staff, experienced in customer service, pay close attention to the comfort and safety of all passengers ensuring guests

the fun and relaxation they deserve on their journey into the Andaman Sea. With just one trip on the Sea Of Fantasy, we are sure you will see the difference.

No other vessel comes close to the Sea Of Fantasy experience - and that's just how we like it.

Location: Koh Bon

Koh Bon became part of the Similan National Park in 1998 and is around 12 miles north east of Island number 9. An oddity on the northern liveaboard itineraries as it is the only limestone island in the area. It has a reputation as one of the best liveaboard dives sites in Thailand for seeing manta rays, though this depends upon the date you choose for your liveaboard itinerary.
Two dive sites are to be mentioned here

The West Ridge
An underwater ridge that splits the current west and north. The up welling from the deep brings up the nutrients and with it loads of fish. The other marine life that you see with some regularity here are Manta rays, at times lots of Manta rays, they to are feeding on the plankton that go with the currents. Sit around 15metres on the north side of the ridge by the staghorn coral beds and the Mantas usually appear. The Mantas are
The main draw here but when the glass fish are in season look out for the Jacks and trevelies, the feeding frenzies can be quite spectacular.
Even without the excitement of mantas, divers can often see leopard sharks and sometimes even eagle rays here. Koh Bon is also home to lots of macro life which, along with the reef fish and pelagics, makes diving here a wonderful experience.
The best time of year to see Manta Rays on Ko Bon is late January through to April, though even then sightings are not guaranteed.

North Reef
Jump on the North side of the ridge and follow the reef. Although most of the divers will be around the ridge this is a great dive especially if you cant be bothered fighting the current. The reef runs down to around 28 – 30 metres and is split into three or four parts . All the coral is spectacular with the normal reef fish around, on top of the reef look out for the Barracuda this is also where I saw my first Whale shark this year. Towards the end of the dive look out for leopard sharks. They are usually on the sand bottom at about 20 metres. Sometimes sleeping and occasionally free swimming so always worth a look.

Location: Koh Tachai

Location: Richelieu Rock

Details:

Located an hour east of the Surin Island National Park lies Richelieu Rock, one of Thailand’s best known Dive spots. This Reef is a “U” shaped pinnacle that starts at 40 meters and extends to the surface. Frequent visits by passing Whale Sharks and Manta Rays have made this site a world famous dive destination. Large schools of Great Barracuda, tuna, Jacks and Bat-fish are native inhabitants of the pinnacle. The site consists of a variety from brilliantly colored soft-corals and anemones in the shallows to frog fish and harlequin shrimp along the steep walls. Around the base of the site divers often spot large groupers, Titan Triggerfish, lion fish and reef sharks.
