Giamani - Phuket Diving Liveaboard

MV Giamani was built in 1998 to IMO standards.
On board MV Giamani our guest number is limited to 16 people per trip so that there is always plenty of space for all guests onboard.
We have 2 Standard cabins and four Deluxe cabins. The two air conditioned standard cabins are situated on the upper deck behind the wheel house; these spacious cabins each have two single berths and share 1 bathroom.
On the main deck we have four Deluxe cabins, each cabin has three single berths, these cabins can also be booked by 2 people that do not wish to share with a third diver. Each deluxe cabin has it own air conditioning unit, en suite bathroom and the cabin door opens to spectacular sea views.
Enjoy the air conditioned saloon for watching a movie, playing back your digital images from that day’s dives, or browse through our extensive library of marine books.

The dive deck is spacious with camera tables and rinse tanks making this an ideal boat for serious photographers.
On the main deck all meals are served buffet style, the food is plentiful and diverse, Thai cuisine and International dishes are served, special diets can be catered for if we know in advance.
Our ice making machine ensures you can enjoy chilled drinks while watching the sun set and our onboard freezers means ice cream can be enjoyed after a hot day in Tropical Thailand, Myanmar or Indonesia. The 35 square meter lounge is located on the Upper Deck. Here you can unwind from a days diving in a comfortable and air-conditioned room with a variety of indoor board games and TV/Video/DVD/CD/Karaoke facilities provided. A personal computer is also available for downloading of digital pictures onto CD’s. Fax and internet access are available, depending on location.
Our bridge, or the Captain’s control room, is well equipped with a full range of state-of-the-art navigation equipment. From here, the Captain will get an all around view, including views from monitoring cameras located in the engine room and the diving platform. The Captain is a local who has had plenty of sailing experience and is an expert when it comes to venturing the Andaman Sea.
Apart from the private shower & toilet facilities in your cabin, a common shower and toilet room is also provided by the large and organised dive equipment area for even more convenience.
5 meals are served per full day. Meals will vary each day and will comprise of Thai cuisines, fresh seafood, and international dishes. Our cook will ensure that you are well looked after for every meal on board. Food will be attentively prepared to suit your requirement. Snacks, tea, coffee, soft drinks are available throughout the day. Nitrox is charged at 2,000 THB for 14 tanks or 250 THB per tank for individual fills.

The vessel is a very large 26 meters x 6 meters wooden dive boat with two decks.
There is a double entry/exit dive station at the stern of the boat and two freshwater showers attached.
We have 35 scuba diving tanks retained upright so you can fix your BCD easily.
The upper deck supports the open air saloon, kitchen, the captain’s cabin and a sun deck where our guests can relax and enjoy themselves.
In the lower deck are double bed and bunk bed cabins all with air condition and windows and three toilets with sink and shower.
